At the on-going WTA Stanford (Bank of the West Classic 2014), Sabine Lisicki hit the an 131mph serve (210.8kph for us in Asia) to become the lady with the fastest officially-recorded serve in tennis history. If I'm not mistaken, she took this crown from Venus Williams.
At the last Malaysian Open tennis tournament, I could only manage 150kph on the serve-speed machine so
I highly applaud her achievement. Guess I'll have to get back to the gym..
Pity though that Lisicki lost her match but then again, I'm a great fan of Ivanovic anyway...
